Muffler heat shields?
I pulled these off my factory dual exhaust equipped 76 blazer. I believe that they are called heat shields? Did the pickups use them too? I think I can save these but does anyone happen to have part numbers?

I doubt a pick up would have them most had the mufflers under the bed,A blazer or suburban would have them because the mufflers are under the floor pan.

Stepsides with wood floors have something similar, but it´s not bent like that. I think that at least pickups that had wood in the bedfloor had shields.

They keep the passengers feet from getting hot?

Well, not on a pickup, then they keep the heat away from the bed floor to prevent it from cracking (or maybe catching fire?)
Only passenger feet they might be shielding would be the mother in law´s, if she ever decided to catch a ride

Yeah wood bed trucks had them to keep the heat off of the wood.

thanks guys, their not too bad in shape, just a little soft around a few mounting holes. I'll just repair them.

Does your truck have factory dual exhaust hangers on it? I am trying to put my 78 blazer back to factory. I have some kind of dual exhaust that I want to scrap.
