After a set (of 5) steel rims. Not after split rims but origonal one piece, or close cousin! Realise they are rare so looking at my options. Must be clean and shipping/delivery is to Carson 90746.

You may find some OEM 16.5x8.25, that will take hubcaps, but 16x8 are probably going to have to be aftermarket. Most OE 16s were around 6" wide.

Frank, that probabley clears things up. And explains why they are so rare.
So are there any options that look kinda close but are cheaper than what Wheel Vintiques sell?

Wheel Vintiques makes them in 6, 7, 8, and 10 widths, fits 11 5/8" hubcap, 16X8 #WV82003 $106.95. Summit Racing carries them #WVI82-680804, $131.95. Summit told me they will match price of $106.95. Mine are coming.

Look for ford and dodge 3/4 ton wheels too, same bolt pattern and the chev hubcaps fit, look the same too. not sure if they made these in 8" wide or not.

White if an extra $45 per rim, so total from Vintique for white is $151.95. I couldn't see why Vintique were selling them less than Summit, but when you add in the premium for white it makes more sense. So black it is! This maybe the only real option for getting a set the right size. Down here I was quoted $90NZD just to widen a rim!

After putting me on hold for nearly ten minutes he told me Wheel Vintiques had sold the business and manufacturing was going over to Coker Wheels and it could take more than three months to get tooled up and under way again. Basically a no go. I then rang the horses mouth and talked to Joe. So the wire wheel and alloy wheel work has gone to Coker, but Vintiques have retained all the steel wheel plant etc. Joe could supply rims within seven days by the sound of it. He also said he had supplied this particular business a set of 82 Series rims only a few weeks ago. Talk about the blind leading the blind.

Thats what I thought when I bought a holly carb from them, but it was 20$ cheaper from summit with free shipping

I think they buy so much bulk that they can pass on the price break??

I'm still concerned about the offset with a 285 75 16 on this rim sticking out past the guards (K25).
