4x10 why not?
I am asking for those with more knowledge, Stop me if I am going to make a mistake. The application is under the seat of a 72. Looking at installing a pair of Kenwood 4x10 at about a 20 degree angle facing mostly forward mounted in small custom boxes. There is only about 5" under there. I understand this is not ideal. However, this is the location I have available (stock tank). Thanks Darrin

I don't see anything wrong with doing that. I think that would be a better place for speakers than behind the seat in the corner. If you do it then take some pics and post em.

4x10s are some of the worst sounding speakers you will ever hear. That should be reason enough to no install them haha.
