I don't know If these are for a big block or not? They where on the 72 frame I just bought. Are they worth keeping?

I'll say yes with 50% confidence. That can increase with a picture or 2

No problem, I'm saying with 99% confidence they are. Check this out: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ghlight=mounts

I wasn't sure because when I bought this chassis it came with box's of parts, which inluded the other type of frame mounts for a big block. I dont have the clamshells as I think they are called just those plates. I plan on putting a small block in the truck. I don't want these but with risk of getting in trouble with the site I don't know if they are worth anything. Here is a pic of the frame mount pedastal type I think.

Yep, look like 72 only BB mounts. Good score.
The other pic is 68-71 BB mounts.

Re: Are These Big Block Mounts?

The previous owner said it had a small block in it when he bought it, but I don't have the clamshells in any of the boxes I got from him. He said I should have them somewhere.

Re: Are These Big Block Mounts?

Thanks for all of the info. I have the 68-71 frame mounts and various other parts under 67-72 chevy truck parts on Des Moines craigslist. I am not a premium member and I don't want to get into trouble for posting a price. I would be a premium member but I don't have pay-pal to sign up. Or I don't know how to use it.

Re: Are These Big Block Mounts?

Ok I guess it isn't so hard after all to become a premium member. I'm not so smart with computers. I usually have to have the wife show me how to do everything on a computer. Lol.

Re: Are These Big Block Mounts?

Now that you are a premium member, parts go for sale on the parts board.
