diff swap help.
i got a 67 chevy c10 with a rear 6 lug diff, 12 bolt. i found a 73 c10 5 lug diff 12bolt laying around my uncles house. is there any way itll fit good in my truck?? or would i have to change some stuff?? or is there any way the 73 axles will fit my 67 diff?? any answer will sure help.thanks

You have to cut off the spring perches and move them inward about 1 inch each, you can get new ones for about $25. Also the shock mounts on our trucks both face forward, on the newer axles one faces forward and one faces rearward, so you have to cut that off and move it too.

Sorry! Nevermind! I have a 4x4 and leaf springs on my mind! Not sure about the 2 wheel drive rears.
