Anyone cut down LWB trim to fit SWB?
I'm thinking about putting upper and lower trim on my truck. I don't want new trim because I'm kind of going for the "beaten" truck look. I've ran across a few nice strait sets of LWB bed trim for good prices too, but never SWB for the price I like. I'm wondering if anyone has ever cut down upper and/or lower bed trim to fit a SWB. From looking online it looks like the upper could be done, but I'm not so cure on the lower. Anyone with pics or how they did it?

Upper should be easy since there is a separate short piece on the back end. All you would have to do is cut a piece off of the long section and put it back together. On the lower you would have to cut the trim and re-form the end on both the front and back section. If memory serves me correctly I think the front would be 12" shorter and the rear would be 8" shorter.... LockDoc
