Custom Cab Steering wheel question
I have a few custom cab wheels, but one is different than the others.... I think it is off a 62 custom cab. Does anyone know for sure what the second wheel is? The first I beleive is a 1966, Also what were the different styles between years.

Re: Custom Cab Steering wheel question
I am not sure, but I did pull one from a 63 custom cab just like the second one, along with the cab sails, aluminum grill, and windshield trim.

Re: Custom Cab Steering wheel question
Should we not try to accumulate all the correct info?
Contributers: jonzcustomshop factorystock On deluxe Chevrolet horn rings. 1960 Not used. 1961 to 1965 used the horizontal type. 1966 used the round Nova type. Steering wheel colors Chevrolet: 1960 Charcoal. 1961 Silverish with slight blue tint. 1962 to 1964 White. 1965 to 1966 Medium Fawn. GMC (American built) had no Deluxe Steering Wheel from 1960-66. GMC(American built) 1960 Charcoal. 1961 Silverish with slight blue tint. 1962 to 1966 Medium Fawn. Factorystock vin63: Yes, the 1966 Chevy truck deluxe option used a 1966-1967 Chevy II (non SS) steering wheel (it was also used for the 1965, but mostly listed as 1966-67). The previous years deluxe option used the 1960-61 Bel Air steering wheel (also used on 1959 El Camino). It was also used on another model, but had a full horn ring instead of the half ring...the model escapes me right now. I hope that helps. -Vince From the internet: The wheel pictured is correct for 59-60 Belair, Kingswood, Parkwood, and Elcamino. Re: Custom Cab Steering wheel question
The top one is a 1965 nova wheel.......Chevy made so many of those wheels they were left over and they put them on the 1966 trucks..........the bottom was was the delux wheel...
I have a few of both....

Re: Custom Cab Steering wheel question
Hey Jacob, I believe GMC only offered the one style of steering wheel in our generation of GM truck.
