Msd 6a/6al???
I am thinking about getting one of these ignition units and was wondering how much of a difference I will notice with one. Am I gonna gain more power or what? THanks

I'm interested in this as well. Not compared to points, but compared to HEI. How much of a power increase are we talking about?
Of course, headers and a cam swap are still priority one for me...and a bottom end if I can pull it off.

I had one on My 4 cyl EFI Isuzu. There was a noticeable difference at low revs. I didn't notice any difference up high, but that little red box made the idle stable down to 300RPM, where the stock ignition didn't like less than 750. Not much help for a street engine, but for a 4x4...
I'm putting my 6A on the pickup this weekend, just to see the difference from an HEI with Hi-po module and Accel Super Coil. I doubt it will be much.

buyingone this weekend. i talked to guy who racesin the OSCA and he said that with a msd box the multiple sparks enable you to burn the fuel effeciently, great throttle response, and added horsepower. the guyt said that it is a good investment, but make sure you get the msd coil to go with it. put out from 45-50 thousand volts.
