Someone educate me on 69-72 rear Blazer dust sheilds. Same as a fleetside truck?

I am no expert, but i will take a stab at it. I think the 69-71 dust shields are the same as a fleet pickup. 72 had a special design for the one year frame rails.

If you mean the shields that bolt to the frame rails between the tailgate and the rear bumper, then no, they are not the same. The Blazer shields are different and are not repoped, unlike the pickup versions.
If you mean the shields that bolt to the inner rear quarter panel skin and bed floor cross brace, right behind the rear wheels in the wheel wells, then yes, they are the same between Blazers and pickups. |

I agree with Eric (TooMuchStuff).. 69-71 Blazer and Pickups are the same, 72 is a Blazer only shield
