What is the measurement from the cup in the seated position down to the end of the shift finger.

Re: WTB NP435 Shifter
Also that could have been a SM465 or the NP435 do you know which trans it was? the 465 had a cast iron top and 435 had a cast aluminum top

Re: WTB NP435 Shifter
Nevermind on the measurement on the one on the left. I just went and pulled the shifter out of my SM465 and It is identical to the one on the left. The one on the right might be it... the measurements I will need to find out with be:
1)from the bottom of the cup to end of the shift finger 2) the "ball" on the end of the shift finger front to back and side to side. 3) the diameter of the cup 4) the width of the slot in the side of the cup. with this info I should be able to accurately id the shifter.
