1963 Stepside
A friend of mine runs a repair shop and has this 1963 Chevy Stepside pickup truck that me and a buddy are putting back together. We painted the frame the same color as the body which of course is organe. My friend is a body man and painted the stepsides and other pieces.
In there pics are the stepside being put in place with seam sealer. The passenger side gave us a lot of problem since someone else did the body work on filled most of the mounting holes. We only have a couple of free ones to mount it and then drill out the rest. Also you will notice that we are smoothing the firewall. It's going to be a nice truck once its done. The owner is going to put a 383 stroker motor with a small blower that will fit under the hood.

Re: 1963 Stepside
Okay we got the stepside hung and changed out the rear tires. The ones he had on there we just way too big to fit properly.
The pictures with the tape on the cab are to hold the weather-stripping in place while the glue dries. And the firewall pics shows bondo work as we are smoothing and sanding. Lots of work here!

1964 Stepside
OKay I thought I would share some pictures and progress of this stepside.
Below you will see the truck bed is ready for the stepsides. The two are just about ready for installation. Also the firewall is now finished and smooth, turned out nice.
