the number and shape of the openings are different as well as the location of the hole for the hood release. The only thing the same as the '77-'79 is the Bowtie

The emblem is already available in the aftermarket so we won't be doing a new one.

We've looked at the stainless trim but right now the cost is simply too high. We will continue working on that though. Most of the trim, unless hit, holds up a lot better than the grille itself and can normally be polished back to near new
