1986 Chevrolet C10 Complete Suspension

Ball Park Estimate...

How much would it cost to get the WHOLE suspension done on my 86 C10?

Just rebuild it... replace everything with NEW parts... i don't wanna bag or drop or lift.

Local auto parts pricing for me on Moog (top of the line) parts...

Upper BJ's @ $51ea (x2 = $102)
Lower BJ's @ $40ea (x2 = $80))

Upper a-arm bushings @ $25pr (= $50 both sides)
Lower a-arm bushings @ $33pr (= $66 both sides)

Tie Rod Ends @ $28ea (inner & outer same price; x4 = $112)

Idler arm @ $97 (x1)
Pitman arm @ $67 (x1)

Grand total estimated for the Moog product line = $574.

Now they also offer their 'house' brand @ a significantly reduced price vs. the Moog line & typically w/a similar warranty for sometimes 1/2 the price. Pricing the 'Master-Pro' product line for the same list/quantity of items above = $257.

The labor to do the work will vary according to the shop & your location.

What else can i replace on the suspension? (Besides the parts listed)
I'm wanting to have ALL new suspension...

Upper BJ's
Lower BJ's
Upper a-arm bushings
Lower a-arm bushings
Tie Rod Ends
Idler arm
Pitman arm

Those are all of the wearable items related to the suspension. Of course there's always brake related items too or the shocks & sway-bars. Shocks would depend on what brand chosen. The sway bar bushings are fairly inexpensive (<$50 for poly bushings from Energy Suspension).

Brakes would also be dependant of brand availability & how far you went. Rotors, wheel bearings, races, seals, rubber flex lines & calipers could all need to be replaced or simply inspected.
