Exclamation wiper system components, help me find em all

so I have the wiper switch and motor locations (duh) is there any other pieces of the puzzle? the reason i ask is my wipers seem to have a mind of thier own, the can be working fine then they shut off mid shift and when i franticly pull up and down on the blinker they go back on is this a swith problem or is there a relay somewhere thats going out?

Sounds like a bad ground, or the wiring is hacked up. Usually bad grounds will make things happen that make no sense at all.

No relays on wipers. It is either the Motor (doubt it), the switch (possible), or the ground is funky (most likely).

well i have a low mileage new wiper motor (nos) and it works fine cause i can use it in my friends truck no issues, so my guess is it has to be the switch in the column
wiring is all good, im the fist to even snip a wire in this rig o mine


HOW do i change out the switch? . I know how to take apart the steering column but isnt the switch hardwired?
