Which of these bags to use for my air over leaf?

Just got my AOL kit from ridetech and they sent me double convoluted bags (f6957) and I thought I was getting a tapered sleeve. I have a pair of ride rite 9000 which dont have quite as much load rating but according to the specs I should get a lot more lift if I use the tapered bag.

The convoluted bag lists

3" compressed 4.5-5.5" ride height, max 7"

sleeve

4.5" compressed ride 8-9.5" max 13"

I dont use the truck to tow anything so I'm not real worried about the load rating. Am I missing something or am I ok to use the firestone 9000

Re: Which of these bags to use for my air over leaf?

They supply the smaller dbl convoluted bag on the HD applications for towing.

The C10's use the sleeve type bag so they would work too. I used the same small dbl convoluted bag on my 74 when I did my 'driveway' AOL set-up on my old 74. I did that bag specifically because of the spacial requirements (I placed the bag directly on top of the original leaf spring pad). W/no load, I kept minimal air psi in them & then just air'd them up once I connected the trailer. Worked great & you wouldn't know they were back there when unloaded.
