454 with 13k miles
What would any of you guys pay for a 454 and turbo 400. I know thats a pretty common combo but the kicker is that the pair only has 13k original miles!. I know for a fact that it is actually 13k and not 113. Any ideas? all stock.

The engine is original to a 87 camper. It has power steering, power brakes, ac, ect. It is being sold as the camper so it will include everything.

Does it run, or has it sat since '87? If it runs probably $800-$1000 for the motor/trans. Condition of the camper determines the rest of the value....

I bought a 69 with a 350 crate motor with 14,000 miles on it. By 15,000 the cam had disintegrated and I have spent $3500 rebuilding it so far. It doesn't take long for damage to occur in a motor. Make sure you still go over it like it was an old engine just to make sure.

i see those type of combos on a regular basis for $500-$800 they dont seem to sell very fast around here

Just curious how you KNOW that is has 13,000? Just remember if it's in a motor home, most drivers have those floored the whole trip just to keep up with traffice. Out here TH400s are $100-$150 ALL DAY LONG and I just picked up a complete running early 454 with 781 heads and absolutely every front accessory (brackets, alt, PS), intake to pan for $300.
