1972 4x4 Blazer Frame and Windshield Frame

I have what is left of a 1972 4x4 Blazer for sale. There is no VIN or title for these parts. This post is for the rolling frame and what is left of the tub. I think the axles are 3.73 nonposi. The frame has surface rust but the body mounts that I can see are in good condition. The windshield frame is in very good shape except on the right side pillar where the top was mounted. As you can see from the pictures, it is a little rusty but it should be an easy fix. The windshield is not broken but the edges are cloudy and there is a scratch from the wiper. The radio area in the dash has not been cut. I am asking $200.00 for the firewall and windshield frame and $200 for the rolling frame or $300 for both. The rally wheels are an extra $50 with no trim rings or center caps. I also have the original steel wheels for $40. The seats are NOT included. I am in Milford, MI.

I also have the doors for sale. They are complete and in okay shape (this is Michigan) except for the door bottoms. I am asking $150 for the pair of doors.

Re: 1972 4x4 Blazer Frame and Windshield Frame

Do the original steels have a 4" back spacing? Could you get some pictures of them? If they are original steels 15x6 6 lug with 4" back spacing and in good shape I would be willing to take them. Thanks

Re: 1972 4x4 Blazer Frame and Windshield Frame

Sorry - the day got away from me. They are 15" 6 lug rims. I measured from the outside lip of the back of the wheel to the mounting surface and it is 4"

Condition is all relative. I have attached pictures of 1 wheel. All of the lips look good as do the holes for the lugs. Two look the same as the picture, 1 has a little less surface rust where the hubcaps scrape them and the other has more surface rust. If you are still interested, I can get the rest of them out and wash them to get better pictures. I prefer local pick up but I can ship them for the cost of shipping. Paul

I should probably add that shipping is not included in any of my prices.

Was that measurement from the highest point of the mounting area, I am still interested if they have 4" back spacing. Could you check the valve stem area as well? Also would need to be shipped to 28327 if you don't mind checking that as well. Thanks

Re: 1972 4x4 Blazer Frame and Windshield Frame

I have attached pictures of the one with the most rust. All have good valve stem holes. The 4" measurement is from the outside of the rim flange to the lowest part of the indent where the lug holes are. When I measured from the flat inside the outer lip to the actual surface the rotor rests on I only get 3.5". The rims are a total of 7" wide. I will get shipping estimates tomorrow.

This is still taking up space in the garage. Anyone interested at $200 each for the rolling chassis or the windshield frame?

How much for the bare Chassis frame. No front or rear axles, just the bare frame with the crossmembers and mounts.

Sorry I did not answer soon. I bought a new Eastwood welder and I have spent my "free time" been having fun with my 69 Judge project.

Re: 1972 4x4 Blazer Frame and Windshield Frame

CTENTA1, I would say $150 for the bare frame just because I would have to spend the time to remove everything. I am in metro Detroit Michigan by the way!

TJSblazer, the ralley wheels are 15 x 8. I have 4 that are nicely painted and 1 that has surface rust. I included a picture of one of the painted wheels.

68lowburb - I included the pictures of the door bottoms. I am thinking about buying the patch panels and using the new welder to fix them. Of course the price would then go up. I would rather sell them as is.

Thanks, Paul

Re: 1972 4x4 Blazer Frame and Windshield Frame

It is getting smaller. Bare frame with nice mounts now $50. I do not have time to cut off the mounts so I want to sell it whole. Pictures will not load so I will try again tomorrow.
