Who's Selling Decent AD Aftermarket Fenders
I have a few months before I move to my next truck but I would like some feedback from those who know where to get Front and Rear fenders for 48~54 AD's. I have a new rear set in fiberglass +2''. Other than being fiberglass they will work fine. I'd like steel but I also like the rear being 2'' wider than stock. At the moment I'd like a set of new front fenders. I've got a small plie used fenders but I'm still healing from all the body work I did my my current truck build.
I've seen them in most of the venders catalogs, are they all or most from the same supplier. My goal is to find some that don't need work after the sale. Thanks! |

I too am interested in this topic but which ever one you choose I would assume they will still need some final body work to get the right.

They do still need bodywork (Dynacorn front fender). The front fenders have a seam going down from the headlight.

Really!? Well, that stinks... Do LMC's have that seam? Or are they re-selling dynacorn parts perhaps if they do? Always wondered about that - although available through several vendors, there can't be THAT many actual manufacturers for these old fenders... wonder how many there really are, 1, maybe 2?

I don't mind a seam or two. I want them to fit as well as OEMs would.

We sell them for less than anyone
http://www.mcssl.com/store/mikesbump...tegory/5072634 all from dii You can still find good used ones thats the first alternative. second is aftermarket. Will they fit perfect? of course not. All panels need to be fitted even on new cars. |
