longhorn diff?

i have a 70 longhorn and im wondering what diff it has. the diff has a removable cover and 3rd member. ive been looking for a posi or a locker for it but have no idea what diff it is. if anyone has ideas let me know.

Your diff is likely a Eaton H.O. 52. I do not believe there are many parts you can buy for them. They are strong and some did come with a posi and this site would be the best place for you to find a used posi for it. I had an HO 52 in my longhorn and changed it out for a Dana 60 for parts availability and the 3.54 gear ration.

All of the longhorns I have had(4-5) have all had dana 60s. Much more parts availability for it.

A 350 woth a 4 speed would have 4.10's if I'm not mistaken.
