Wiring Harness

Hello all,
I recently bought an 84 Chevy K10 and am beginning to tear into it. Over the years the wiring has taken a lot of abuse with someone splicing the crap out of it or just removing stuff. I did look around for a replacement harness but most of the places online only go to 1982 and I have been told there are a lot of differences in the harnesses. I do know the wiper controls are different along with high beam control but what else? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Wiring Harness

Yeah that ESC stuff, I plan on getting rid of all the emissions stuff which is really already gone for the most part and getting away from the HEI and doing the whole MSD package.

Re: Wiring Harness

Other than that, everything should be the same. The only real differences are the ESC, the wipers, and the high beams. That will be difficult unless you swap steering columns and bezels/switches.

Re: Wiring Harness

The wipers shouldn't be an issue, I already looked at what I would need for that but I might try and keep the high beams on the column but if it looks like to much then ill just go to the floor, Thanks for the input!!!

Re: Wiring Harness

84-86 wiring should be pretty easy to find used.
