well i am thinking of lowering my truck, not real far but far enough if anyone my catch my drift, I kinda like the look of lowered trucks but i still want mine to stay fully functional, like tow my boat and put my cab over camper in the bed of the truck and what not. So im looking for opinions and pics and it is a lwb fleet side truck with no trim. It is a driving restoration that i am trying to work all the mechanical bugs out of right now and as soon as that is done the body work will begin.

I'm going to do 2 or 2.5" spindles and 2" blocks on my 70. Proably do the same drop specs on the 83.

if your going to change out to front disc brakes, you could go with 2" drop spindles, and 4" shorter rear springs that would level it out nice - maybe add air bags on rear for when your towing.

I have 3" drop in back and 2" in front. Still haven't installed it yet, but figure we are on the same level. I wanted a little drop, but I didn't want it slammed. I will probably get started on it later this week. My theory is that it would bring it down some, but still be serviceable for performance. I have new CPP springs and shocks for the drop. No heating coils or using Jeep junk here.

I was just going to order lowering springs for it no spindles or anything of that such i just think a mildly lowered longbed looks good.
