Widest

What is the widest rim you can fit on a 72 C10 stock set up?

Re: Widest

Someone else may chime in but from what I have read a 14" rim with about 9.5"-10" backspacing will clear a 18.5" tire on stock coil suspension with the wheel-wells tubbed to the frame. I know this only from the resaerch I have done on this sight because I was thnking of trying to stuff my dually tires under my c30 project on a narrowed H072.

Do you remember what size tires you had on it?

Re: Widest

I have 20x10 billets under a stock non tubbed bed with a 6 inch drop. No rubbing. 5 inch back spacing. But I only have 275s on it. From my measurements it looks like can go up to about a 295 or MAYBE a 305 but no bigger.
