Flipkit Questions.

Ok, I got my DJM flipkit ready to go on. Its the kit without the CNotch. My question is, is the U shaped thing that holds the axle to the leafs welded on there? Because I was taking a look at it and it looks like it might be attached. It might just be years and years of road grime, but I want to be sure before I rip open the rearend and find out I dont have the right parts.

well the u-bolt...(im assuming thats what you are talking about) has to be attached somehow. i dont remember how though. take a pressure washer to the underside of your truck before you start, cuz that will help everything. dirt falling in your eyes isnt fun.

Like I said on FSC, remove the nuts from each U-bolt, the U-bolt plate, and they will come off. Doing one side at a time, remove/tighten the nuts in a star pattern.
