Anyone have a junk cab around? Especially Houston area

Bought this cab in Arizona that was on a RV and had a cutout in the back for access to the camper. The cab is heavy rust free though and has only surface rust so is a good choice I think besides this one problem. Would anyone happen to have a junk cab around that would be willing to sell me this one section out of? It is about 3 feet by 2 feet. If is within driving distance of Houston I will be happy to come cut it out myself. Also will have this cab skin with clearance lights available for cheap if anyone needs one (going to buy a plain roof skin to weld in). Thanks for reading!

I'd grab a battery sawzall and head for a local pick-n-pull place. You should be able to find just what you need and not spend $$$$ shipping. With any luck you can score a useable gasket and window as well. The roof panel interests me, be worth adding to my collection. Need anything?

I'd be thinking hard about a crate design and finding a reduced rate freight company.

Mgb mike you sell the roof skin too, right? Was checking out your website and was wondering if that is the complete cab skin? If so I will be purchasing one of those from u. How much would you sell me that piece out of the back for? PM me if u don't want to post here. I already have a good back window and gasket btw.

And I'll let you all know how well the cab skin comes off. I'll be really careful but I've been known to screw up perfectly good things before!

Re: Anyone have a junk cab around? Especially Houston area

I have a total rust bucket cab in the SF bay area, California
if you only need the piece below the window I think thats the one good area. I could cut it out and send you just that piece.
my main concern would be the cost of shipping cause I sure its heavy, but im going to be cutting this cab up anyway to recycle it
PM me if it comes down to it.

Re: Anyone have a junk cab around? Especially Houston area

Ok I appreciate it! If the cabs around here do not work out I will PM you. I wouldn't think that piece would weigh more than 20 or 30 pounds would it? I believe most of it would be a single layer but could be wrong.
