20-7/8 from the front shackle hole on a 55/59 according to the instructions on the web site. links for All of the instruction manuals for Heidts products are here http://www.heidts.com/instruction_manuals.html

Welder's Series instructions while intended for their U weld it universal crossmember are good for any MII install.

48/53 are 18-1/8 or 18-1/4 depending on the vendor. Heidts is 20-7/8 for Task Force trucks 55/59. DG Racing is working on a Task force truck.

I think we have several with that front end on their Task Force trucks so maybe one of them will chime in and bring out a side view photo.

That sounds like the best plan. Some guys do set them ahead on those rigs so that the wheel centers in the wheel well better. They may have taken that into consideration with their measurements.

Re: Tci / Heidts crossmenber

Looking at the pict, you've got it right. We use the leading edge of the factory brake line hole. This is 3/8" ahead of the OE centerline, and will put the wheel dead center.
