Becareful people not worth the $10.

http://news.sympatico.cbc.ca/local/s...tolen/50889952

A man who agreed to give three people a lift ended up beaten, stripped to his underwear and robbed of his vehicle, police say.

According to RCMP in Prince Albert, the victim's ordeal took place shortly before 1 a.m. CST Tuesday.

They said the driver was approached by a three men who offered him $10 if he would drive them across the river in Prince Albert.

The man accepted the offer and the group hopped into his 1982 Chevrolet Suburban SUV.

"While driving, the male in the passenger seat grabbed the steering wheel as the other two males began assaulting him with metal pipes," police said in a news release about the case. "The driver was pulled into the back seat, and continued to be assaulted."

Police said the assailants then drove the SUV to rural road north of Prince Albert.

"One of the males pulled out a knife and said he was going to stab the driver," police said. "The driver was forced to strip out of his clothes to his underwear. The driver was able to jump out of the vehicle and run to a near by residence to call 911."

Police said the SUV was last seen traveling west.

Three guys? 1:00 AM? Call me cynical, but I seriously doubt that I would have even talked to them.
