Intake bolts for 250 L6

Hi Folks,

Any idea where I can buy intake/exhaust bolts + bridges for a 250 chevy six????

It doesn't seem so easy to find.

My ride is in Nairobi Kenya so no I can't drop by the nearest NAPA parts store...

I guess you could check with the Somalia pirates and see if they've hijacked any 250 Mercruisers lately?

Welcome !!! The best Idea I could give you would be a wrecking Yard.I seriously doubt they have any with 250's in Kenya. You might try one of the Classic car wrecking yards, they'll probably cost an arm and a leg but they should be able to get them and ship to you.I don't have an extra set but coulkd probably find some over time. The main thing is the "bridges" since you can get new studs/bolts fairly easily.

Yeah,

Thks

The after market supports the SBC 350 but when you need stuff for a 194-230-250 things can get nasty

Even finding a "decent" cherry picker ain't no pick-nick out here hee hee...

But we pulled it out ok (brought the engine stand from BC...in my luggage!!)

Next stop: machine shop down town Nairobi...Oh boy!

The machine shop may need a mathmetician to do the machine work. The US uses a different measuring system than anyone else. They tried to get us to go to Metric but it started about 40 years ago and is still slowly coming into use here.
