carb to TBI Tv cable swap questions

im thinking of swaping out my old carb in my 86 to tbi or any 87 and up chevy fuel injected engine. How will my tv cable hook up to the 700r4 or will i need a special bracket?is the carb bracket different from the tbi?

Re: carb to TBI Tv cable swap questions

The TBI cable bracket bolts to the intake on the driver's side, instead of using teh two rear carb mounting bolts. Your existing TV cable should work, though. The mounts end up in a similar spot, the mounting is just a little different.
