Los Magnificos Custom Car Show in Houston Pictures

Pictures from car show today. This 81 Chevy with later model front end was super nice! Giant tires in the back.
P.S Yes, those tires say 405 wide. Did not know they even made ones that big! Coolest vehicle there.

Second coolest vehicle. I know its not a truck but when it looks this good from the outside and has that under the hood who cars? Always loved the old Novas. The only funky thing was the graphics on the window. And check out this 83 with the 64 Impala front end and back end.

And last but not least. Really nice shaved silver 75 with some good looking Billet Specialties.

I can't help but wonder why that black truck still has drum brakes on the rear. Would look so much better with a big disk setup all around with those wheels.

OK, I hate to admit it..that Impala truck is kind of neat. Not something I would build, but interesting to look at.

U can get more paint on a drum then a caliper.

That Impala c10 was trying too hard in my opinion. Who won the build off contest after all? City Style?

Re: Los Magnificos Custom Car Show in Houston Pictures

Yea you would think that any truck that has 671 dollar a piece tires on it would have disk brakes!!! Damn good looking truck all the same. And I am not sure who ended up winning. Yea that Impala truck was kinda cool. Even if it isnt your tastes you have to admit it took some skills to make it happen. The body work was good on it too

I really like the Impala C-10. Very unique. I think a set of SS wheels would look slick on there.

Re: Los Magnificos Custom Car Show in Houston Pictures

Wow alot of thought in gettin the Impala parts to fit that c10. Love the way it looks, just that red paint is too much for me. I would love to see that same truck with different wheels and a different paint scheme like a old school 2 tone job in light tan. The rear side panels are from a 64 Implala it looks like and the front from any of the 63-65 years and the lid on the trunk is definitely from a 65 Impala. None the less it really came out good, alot of creativity there!

I agree about the drums on the first truck, but I'd love them tire's and a simular wheel on my 78 Malibu wagon.
the workmanship on the impala truck is amaze'n.

The Impala truck is actually pretty cool. I like how they blended the body line into the grill and the bed cover that looks like a trunk lid with the tail lights is pretty cool too.

Yep, It had taillights in the bed cover. And the black truck was tubbed. Those 405s were kickass. Wish I had them on my truck. The rearend was narrowed too

I would drive that impala truck everywhere that is probably the first off the wall custom like that, that I think looks amazing.

Impala truck is definitely cool. I keep looking at it and wondering if the roof being about 2" lower would help or hurt it.

I actually think that roof chop would look cool as heck. Think about the impala, long long quarters and the roof is low from the factory. Would look sweet I think

I can vouch for the bodywork! I saw it in a Corpus Show, but it didn't have the 64 Impala trim back then. I love Impalas, and Square Bodies just not all together

I was able to confirm, City Style's 76 Caprice did win the build off. I'm guessing this must have been second.
