U like this color on a Chevy?

Saw this old Ford at the GoodGuys show and fell in love with the color.

It is a factory Mercedes color, only thing I think I want to change is make it a matte finish. Love the satin flat look.

So what do you think, good color for a 64 short step?

That’s a beautiful color and would look just as good on a Chevy stepside. Satin or gloss is really a matter of personal preference.

Re: U like this color on a Chevy?

looks pretty close to Artesian Turquoise - a stock 65 Impala color - although it was maybe a little more "green"...

Edit - ok, now that I see them side by side... not so much. But I think the pic of my old impala is a little off, it actually seemed much more "Green" in person... Or my memory is getting more gray. Was a fun old car though. First of two of my mid-30's big-body big-block addiction. Glad I outgrew that, couldn't afford the gas!

That is a beautiful color and I think it would look great on a 4-5-6

I think it looks good but would most likely change my mind at the cash register. I choked when they quoted me $225 a quart for a chrysler metallic blue last year. ended up going with H.O.K. for $50

I had that color flatted on a Galaxie a few years ago. Really complex color, especially in the sun. Lots of gold and silver hues, like a 60s Christmas tree ornament

Found the right name for this color.

65 Mercedes Mist Green have no idea who sells it or what it cost but man I love the look.

Looks similiar to my Chevelle which is a GM paint code 67 Code K (I believe its called Marina Blue Metallic). Fades to blue or green depending on the mix. Might be less expensive than the merc version.
