67 Van Steering Wheel: Anyone running One?

Found one of these steering wheel / column in a junkyard last week in decent shape. Haven't seen any others around. I was curious if anyone was running one of these steering wheels.

Nice looking wheel. Is it the same diameter as a truck steering wheel?

I'd rock the steering wheel. Not far from what the stocker looks like but it'd keep the Gurus thinking. The diameter looks about the same.

IIRC the diameter is about the same, but the dish is less meaning the wheel would be farther away from the "spare tire".I have never run one in a PU though I have driven that style of van quite a few miles.Might be a cool way to throw some people off.

You know, I didn't see it but Chewy is right. It could be considered an up grade. And if you ever take it in the chest the horn button could be a cool tattoo/scar! A nice story for the grand kids!

The dash would be a COOL 64-66 swap also.

Interesting. Would that fit in the 64-66 pickup?

Yeah I think that the Van steering wheel would be something that is stock looking and adds some more character to the truck. I ended picking up a stock 67-68 pickup wheel in decent shape with both a Chevy and GMC horn cap for $17. Deal of the day. Think the Van wheel would cost me ~$20 also if I go grab it.
