Chevy body parts into furniture?
I know alot of the guys who are truly into the style of old vehicles have a knack for cool, artsy things throughout the house. Anyone ever made any old rusty parts into furniture? Im thinking about making a couch out of an old bench seat, with doors welded on the ends with functioning windows? idk, post anything if youve got any ideas, or pics! thanks.

Ive seen stepsides tailgates used as the back piece on metal benches before. Ive seen the trunk area of cars made into love seats. No pics though.

Here... check out this link. Some have created head boards for a bed and lighted wall hangings.

SeeTen did a bench that folds up from the last 6-8 in of a bed.I've seen a bar from the last foot of a bed.The tailgates on both folded down to make a seat on the bench and top for the bar.IIRC both have working taillights.

Re: Chevy body parts into furniture?
Has anyone ever been to Crested Butte,CO? There is chrome bumper art all over town. Mostly statues, but I saw a bench along the street. My friend used an advance design hood for an awning over the door to his shop:
