paint color
What color black should the part around the headlights be, gloss ,flat....? Also the 454 emblem, should it be red? Thanks

It depends on the year. Some were semi-gloss black inside the headlight buckets, other years were natural (chrome) finished. The engine designation was usually ochre (dark yellow), at least on Chevy trucks.
