Exclamation Griffin rad fit

Just want to let anyone else who is thinking of buying there "Direct Fit" line know that they fit. But are not a direct bolt in using factory hold down clamps. I called them 3 times to clarify that it was direct fit. Never did they say any mods would be needed. I had to grind the factory rubber and clamps to make it kinda fit. Not happy with the hacked type of install needed for a 600.00 rad.
Sure it will be cool running just not up to my standards for a clean factory install.

Re: Griffin rad fit

I just finished installing one. Nice. I too had to modify the lower (AM) brackets (for me - not the hold down clamps on top) because the brackets were too short.
Not a big deal, just be aware. Check my build thread for more pics/info. It was the EXACT size of the one I removed.

Size: Griffin 6-567AR-BAX
2 row (1.25" rows) = old 3 core copper/brass.
