New step project

So i have been wanting to turn my lwb 84 3/4 into a swb for awhile and well a friend called me up and offered me this for cheap.

new project

Daily driver

So who am i to turn down the op for a good deal and take up more space, after all it needed a home.
The truck already came with new 3" bell tech spindles and 1" coils and has a new flip kit in the back. That being said this now gives me the op to take this down to the frame do a sfbd with a link set up in the rear with air all the way around while I can still have some thing to drive.
Once the frame is done I will put the drivetrain, cab and front clip off my daily onto this frame as it is super straight.
Then when that project is done I can figure out what to do with the other cab and frame.

Re: New step project

Today I scored a engine that will help with the build. I have been looking for a take out engine to replace the vortec 454 in my 98 in my crewcab dually that had lost the #5 rod bearing.Well today I p/u a complete 454 vortec with a 4l80e that has 25,000 miles on both and came with the ecm, wire harness and trans harness also a 98 dash for $1000.
So the plan now is to take the old 454 stroke it to 496 and put it in the step.
