67 chevy c10 swb
I bought an old 67 c10 truck a few months ago. The medium blue truck is currently in its original condition, except for chrome wheels that were put on the truck by a grandson of the original owner. The last year it was registered to operate was in 1978, so it is definitely a survivor.
I purchased some 15 x 6 correct original wheels for the truck, and got a set of original white hubcaps with the red chevy bowtie in the middle. My question is can someone help me with any pictures showing the way the truck would have been in its original state as the the color the steel wheels were painted, and did the truck come with blackwall, or did it have whitewall tires of ??width whitewall, etc. thanks for any help, blue67swb |

Re: 67 chevy c10 swb
WELCOME!!! Best guess (and it is just a guess)on the wheels is that they were white from the factory though black is also a possibility.Tires were probably a g78 15 but options were available and trucks in this era could be ordered with single options rather than a package. You may find more info on what it had by looking at the SPID,located on the glovebox door.It will have any options listed(within reason and considering that nothing is perfect and the person typing the info in wasn't lazy.Others may chime in with better info.
In the meantime, welcome to the best resource for info, parts and friendship for these trucks anywhere in the WORLD!
