1962 big window bought new here in NC at local dealership in 62. I have the owners manual and other paper work with it..in pretty good condition even wood in bed floor is original...what do you guys think?

Here's the one I bought a few years ago - a sweet little 62 bbw shortwide - that almost showed up with bogus paperwork (guy's name on the title was dead...) and the kinda lazy guy that bought it from him (years ago) never bothered to get it licensed, even for non-op in CA, which is required, and then tried to sell it. He forged the name on the bill of sale of the dead guy - or actually, I should say, his secretary did. Found out because I called about a little detail and asked for the guy on the title and the secretary said that guy was dead years ago and that her boss told her to sign it with the dead guy's name...

So I turned the shipper back around and had him dump it at the dealer that was selling it under consignment. WHAT A MESS! Middle man, crooked consigner, etc etc - I felt VERY lucky to get my money back -the only way I did was to splain to the dealer that he had a solid reputation with high rollin customers in SoCal - and, to his credit, he gave me back the full amount. The shipping trucker got screwed a little - but he was so good I've used him ever since and always will Not inexpensive, but VERY professional. Bill Demoise trucking out of South Caroline. Anyhoo - here's the lil truck, really really wanted it but couldn't work the bogus paperwork in MD when I lived there even if I wanted to.
