Better Rear End

Anybody know where i can get a posi-track rearend to put in my 69 shortstep. new or used.

NEW?? just go to your local tranny shop and have them rebuild your rear and install a posi, that's what i did

well with all new bearings seals posi new 411 gears etc it was pretty close to a thousand dollars

Sure if you find a used one at a swap meet or junk yard, the down side to that is you're getting parts that have been used for 35years that don't have the life exppectancy of a unit with all new components. me i just wanted to fool with the rear once and it's my primary vehicle that i put about 25-30thousand miles per year so i figured it was worth it
