okay this one is going to take some time to get it where i want it but I couldnt pass it up. I really wanted a 55 . my uncle bought this car about 6 years ago and it had just been put back on its frame it had a 305 engine and it was drivable . well after six years nothing had been touched except for pulling the eng. and selling it . Well 2 months ago he got caught with a women (other than his wife ) and car went up for sale. And thats the rest of the story.

Okay.......somebody call the cops!!!
This guy stole this car.

Really......that is sweet.
Look forward to twenty people a day asking you "wanna sell it?"

The thing I like best about 55-57 Chevys is that you could actually build a whole car via UPS.
99.998% of the parts are made new.

Damn, you can't get a "beat up" 56 around here for less than $5,000. That one looks straight!

Thumbs up

I have a 57 2 door post, I took all glass out, chrome off and sand blasted, got the bumpers re-done....well you know the drill. After 10 yrs now it is sitting in the back yard again. Been thinking of selling it. I would rather find a 55-59 truck to build. Nice car though. 5-7 was my favs..

I have always had a 56 Chev since 1966. Great cars and will go forever. If you have any question feel free to ask. This is my wifes daily driver.

Thanks for all the nice words and offers for info . I will more than likely need the info when I get started . I was told by the wife no more cars are to get built until I have her's done . Its a 72 Nova custom that I have had aparts since 1996. i have built 2 Nova's and 2 trucks since I started on her's so I better finish it first since this is how I met her, trying to buy the car from her mother.

55-57's are sweet cars, if I didnt have my truck, I would steal my dads 55 Bel Air. Too bad we have too many projects on the go, or else we could finish the car, BTW sweet deal on the 56, cant go wrong with a factory v8 automatic... for 2500.

Lucky
