new to the board 65 chevy LS swap
836184
65 Chevy that we have had around for a few years as a shop truck. Stand 6cyl auto 12 bolt. Nothing special tires and wheels worth more then truck at this point. 836185 836186 So the motor is out. 836187 And this is whats going in. 6.0 LS |

just to help out I just did the swap on mine if you use the I6 engine stands you will need to move them forward about an inch then up and out about an inch. Other than that its not a bad swap

I'm not too far from you. What trans are you planning on? Staying with EFI or going carb? I have a set of motor mount adapter plates if you are in need of them.

Welcome to the board, hope to watch your progress on this project looks like a nice rig to start with! I grew up out at the end of Long Lake, and I still own a house up on the South Hill.
