Hi Im hoping somebody has done this and can help. I have a damaged steering column with plain hi/low/mist wipers in my 85. I wrecked a similar truck and want to use that column looks the same but has the delay option which would be nice. Before I tear it apart I would like to know what's involved. Is all the wiring completely different? Do I just need the delay module? Different motor? Any advise would be appreciated. thanks

I plan on converting my 1981 soon. I already have a 1988 steering column so the wiper delay module is already there and it should just be a matter of wiring since the motors are the same.
