Got my grill ready

Had my 63' grill blasted, painted then installed Autoloc headlights with built in turn signals. Had to cut out some areas of the headlight buckets for these lights.but other than that they fit fine. Going to wire everything up today, see how well they light up.

Re: Got my grill ready

Very nice! And what are your plans for the hood turn signals?
Great idea for running no hood on the truck.

Grille looks great! Those H/Ls are pretty trick too. Do you wanna sell the GMC turn signal parts? I'd like to put 'em in my Chevy hood.

Beautiful looking grill there! Are those Autolocs HID or? Would really like to see the pattern and get feedback on how bright they are. Cool stuff right there.

Re: Got my grill ready

finally got everything hooked up, the lights are called "snakeyes" by autoloc, they use regular H4 bulbs. they seem pretty bright -hard to tell in the pics. I havent drove around yet with them - got a flat tire...next project

Yep, gonna cut the chevy hood to accept them. I wanna put them on opposite sides so they look like angry eyebrows... I need everything buckets, bezels, lenses, ect.

Re: Got my grill ready

That looks sweet! I'm doing the same thing with the hood for my '66 sub; a '63 GMC with filled signals. I'm using the '66 grille; might cut out the mesh and put the signals in there.. not sure yet, too many other things to do first.

koda360- just a heads-up.. The GMC lights snap into the holes with tabs. There are no screws/bolts holding them in so you'll have to figure out some way to secure them. Should look cool inverted, though.
