78 blazer factory radio questions

Need to know if a 78 blazer could be ordered new with a factory am/fm cassette radio.

tkeduk8r has this radio but neither of us is sure if it is 78 correct.

Pretty sure that was not available until the 80's. Your 78 no doubt had the normal AM/FM crystal tuned radio.

According to that, AM or AM/FM push button radios were the options.

The GMC pickup brocure shows the CB radio with a similar look. I say go for it. It's not going to look out of place, and it has to beat an AM radio.

i won't tell
heck mine was stock 1 speaker am radio
put a 96 stock in till now
just got a new deck a "so not stock": Pioneer

some info from 74 says am/fm might be there then
