454 in a AD headers?

Anyone running a BBC in your AD pickup? If so which headers or manifolds did you use?
I don't have stock manifolds with my 454 so would I would have to buy something and it seems the cast stock manifolds are as expensive as headers, if you can find them.
So what ya got and where did you get 'em?

Re: 454 in a AD headers?

I am using the center dump block huggers. With a big block everything is really tight. Take a look at my build thread and I thin I have some pictures on there if not let me know and I will post some for you. I don't get on here everyday so it may take a day or two to get back to you.

Cool build!

I think thats the style I'll go with too, Speedway has them.

I'll probably have to be creative with my steering also.

thanks!

Re: 454 in a AD headers?

I am still having issued with the steering. I thought I had it all figured out but the other weekend we were test fitting everything and some of the linkage is still hitting things I didn't want it to. Back to the drawing board. I have a couple of things I am going to try the next time I head do there. Good luck and let me know if I can be of assistance on anything else.

Re: 454 in a AD headers?

Thanks Bernie.
Yeah, I think it's going to be a challenge on the steering. Haven't had much time to work on mine either. I'll let you know if I come up withj a good solution also.
