Looks good nice work! I like to see good work.

There used to be an annual custom show at the fairgrounds here. There was some nice work there, some very strange looking cars with beautiful metal work also. Too bad they don't do it any more.

What are you looking to do, a stepside or a fleetside custom? Thats why I love my Cameo, the bedsides flow with the rest of the body line.

I do have a 51 stepside....and the properties of the bed does not really fit to the round and smooth look of the rest of the truck..

So i hope to get some ideas here for a smoother look

Thanks

On that body style, I would look more at the old Studebakers as the beds on those trucks flowed with the body lines.

Re: Pics of custom designed beds ???

I thought a S10 bed on a AD would look good if done correctly. Like this one but it needs to be narrowed, and lose the tail lights and gate handle.

I rememder seeing a feature in custom classic trucks awhile back that was about an AD truck with a narrowed s-10 fleetside bed and AD stepside fenders molded onto it. Looked good.

The one you're referring to is one that was build by/for GM on an s10 frame. It had an s10 stepside bed with the s10 "fenders" shaved off it and the AD fenders modified and put on it.
