Parting out a 1972 Chevy Cheyenne C10 ***Parts list added 12-17***

*************Parts list added in post 59*************************

I have a 1972 Chevy Cheyenne 10 that is rough but I figure there are a few parts that need to be saved before the truck is disposed of. It was originally a v8 automatic but engine and transmission are missing. I am parting out the entire truck but I do have some parts already sold locally. I am planning on disassembling this truck Saturday December 10th. Post to the tread with interest and I will check and get pictures as soon as I can. I will need to remove most parts before the shipping charges can be figured. I accept PayPal or Bank Money Orders.

Items that are already sold locally:

Power brake booster, brackets, push rod, m/c and prop. valve

I will get them removed and get better pictures and a shipping price. I would think $10.00 will be pretty close. I think the door jamb vent is cracked but I will check

No problem, I figured it was rougher than you would want.

Yes it is the one that was on Terre Haute Craigslist. It was only 25 miles for me. I was interested in the rust free tailgate but his rust free tailgate is full of bondo and has these bubbles under the paint. If they are not rust I guess I do not know much about old trucks. LOL It is pretty rough but I hate to see any of them just go for scrap.

Todd,
hows the gas tank? Is there any rust inside the tank or leaks? I might be interested. What is the amount? Is it also possible to ship to 63301, close to Saint Louis.
Thanks,
Ray

They probably were but have been painted black. Right side is warped some and the left side has a broken tab. Sorry

Here are some pictures, just let me know if you want more. The shipping would be $11.00. The webbing looks good but dirty. The latches all work. The chrome is not great. The retractor covers are not as good as I thought they were. I do also have a door vent. I would take $55.00 for the belts, vent and shipping. Let me know. Thanks

The heater control levers all move and not broken. 2 of the rivets holding the face to the back are getting loose and have some movement. Switch operation is unknown. I would take $25.00 for it. Shipping would be $8.00. Total of $40.00 for control head, lighter delete and shipping. Let me know. If you need more pictures just let me know. Thanks

Ray, The gas tank looks good on the outside but I have not checked the inside yet. I would have no idea on how to ship it for a reasonable price. If it is clean inside I would take $45.00 for it. I am only 20 miles south of I70 if you know anybody that travels this way. I will let you know when I get the inside checked but it will probably this weekend.

Left outside handle might be ok but the right side has the button broken in it. All the sheet metal is very rusted and I am sure the inner fenders are junk. I will let you know when I get it apart.

The main part is nice but the bottom lip is rusted around where it bolts into the bed. I planned on cutting them out so I will see what they look like after removal and get you a price and shipping quote.

I am only 20 miles south of I70 if you know anybody that travels this way. I will let you know when I get the inside checked but it will probably this weekend.

I will get them off and get pictures, price and shipping quote. Did you notice they extar holes in them-- screws along the edge?

Left outside handle might be ok but the right side has the button broken in it. All the sheet metal is very rusted and I am sure the inner fenders are junk. I will let you know when I get it apart.
Thanks
Jess

How rough is that steering wheel? Any more photos available?

Thanks,
