Bumper Guards for 81 w/ lamp holes
Hello,
I am trying to locate some bumper guards for my father-in-laws 1981 Chevy truck. I am told the front bumper is a 1981-1982 specific bumper that contains lamp holes. Would one of the sites on-line vendors carry these? I have looked and I believe the following is what he is looking for: thank you for your reply. |

The bumper itself is different on the 81/82 compared to the newer models, like you said due to the park lamps in the bumper. The guards however are the same on a 81-87, only difference being if the bumper has a rub strip or not.

The picture I robbed from the ebay listing. I think this is the one he's looking for. Appreciate the input. LMC does not carry those odd ball bumper guards. Thanks again!

81-87 are all the same guard, regardless of lamps in the bumper or not, as was already said. The bumper guards go no where near the lamp openings for the 81/82.....

understand, but the way he explained it to me the profile of the guard is different. He ordered the ones from LMC and they allow for the molding lower on the guard.
