like a new truck !!

today i swapped the wheels from my drag car to the truck.took of the 20" rims running 255x35 tyres that where on it when i bought it.
man what a difference. the truck drives so smooth now,not harsh and bumpy.
going to go big sidewall on my new wheels.it was like driving a limo compared to a chuck wagon the last few weeks.

Re: like a new truck !!

I always figured, other than looking too frail for a truck, that those big hoops and rubber bands wouldn't give a good ride. Got pictures? Plus,I bet the drag car wheel & tire combo gives it the look or performance, not just the look of...a look.

Re: like a new truck !!

special-k your right the big n little wheels changes the whole outlook of the truck. It does have a bit of a cam in it ,so it now looks the part as well as goes.
i will get some photos up with the wheels but her is one of the 20"and the vette before going to a drag car
i never had a truck before so i thought all this bumps and shacking me about was natural being a pickup,i didnt think it would be down to the rubber band sidewall .
