No matter what, we'd never be able to duplicate that kind of interior or engine bay...

Man oh man!

Clicked around a bit, wish I could see what he paid for it. Just outta curiosity.

I saw this one at a car show with it's original owner. This is an original, unrestored truck in it's original paint. I have never seen one this clean.

Re: Nice truck, something for the strickly stock fanīs?

The red/white truck has been for sale for a while. It has some fading and wear on the exterior trim that would keep it from bringing the big money . Just my opinion. There are original trucks out there . I bought one in 2008 that was in unreal condition for a '73. It was as nice as I have seen but it was a long bed.It was as nice as the truck above and the interior was a time capsule. Finding a short bed like that seems to be impossible. There are a couple on the board here that I think are nicer than the red/white one above. 80SPORT has one for sure. Black 4x4 with around 750 miles. It is as perfect as they came back then. My '73 Cheyenne Super was burnt orange and white.
I have always looked for clean original trucks but my opinion of these trucks has changed. If you want a nice one you should find a restored truck. They paint was not that nice from the factory since they were mass produced. Kens 77 is in another league compared to my original paint 78 I recently sold.

Good reference shot of what the early rally wheel center cap/trim rings looked like.
