Re: Long to short conversion.
Here's a thread that should help you out:
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=123624 Also the Trucks TV segment in 2007 shows exactly how to do this, both to the frame and the fleetside bed. You can watch it on Amazon.com for $1.99, and save it to your hard drive. Following is the link. It is episode 10 dated 5/27/2007, titled 1/2 a C-10. Amazon.com: Trucks!: Season 2007, Episode 1... Sorry the link isn't working any longer, but if you search under "Trucks Season 2007" it pops right up. |

I prefer the method Mark links to:
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=123624 I feel the method where they cut the frame at an angle has a greater chance of error.

Re: Long to short conversion.
The TV show Trucks did this to a 64-66 long bed. You might find those episodes with a search.

Re: Long to short conversion.
here's the start to finish on the Trucks! 66 C10. $21.95. I bought it, might be worthwhile if you're actually doing this to your truck I think. If you can find the full episode for free on youtube or somehting, go for it (I couldn't find em, and I don't believe Powerblock offers these for review anymore (I don't THINK, not sure, just couldn't find em) - note that thise CD has NO EXTRA stuff than what was on the original string of episodes - it just has all the commercials cut out. http://www.powerblockswag.com/Trucks...hevyc10dvd.htm

Re: Long to short conversion.
I went to amazon and bought all the episodes, downloaded them to my computer in an "unbox". I can watch them anytime I want. I too would say they would be very helpful.
